Beerus

The Flerkens

Meet Beerus and Logan, my furry companions! Logan, a sweet DMH, came to me as a tiny abandoned kitten about nine years ago in Ontario. Beerus, a fluffy Ragamuffin, joined the family a few years back. We found him and his brother at the SPCA in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. His brother, Neji, went to live with my friend Roby's parents.

Another delicious breakfast sandwich fueled me up, and my rented e-bike arrived, ready for adventure. I cautiously navigated the steep hill down to Dunedin, keeping my speed below 30 km/h – the incline was just too intimidating!

Waking up at 4:30 AM wasn't a surprise after my long journey, so I decided to explore the local TV offerings. To my astonishment, the channels were filled with infomercials, a nostalgic throwback to North American television in the 80s. It was actually quite refreshing! I did manage to find Al Jazeera news, which felt necessary since I'd left my tech at home and wanted to stay somewhat informed.
